Oh yes, something for Harry Reid too!

Here’s a basic education lesson for U.S. Senator from the State of Nevada, Harry Reid in response to his remark about President Obama’s “light skinned” and “Negro accent” being a factor in winning the election in 2008 (so ignorant and condescending from a so-called “liberal” Democrat and yes Obama should have took him to the woodshed and forget about this easy forgivism—but that’s neither here nor there). By the way, it is called African American Vernacular English accent in 2010, Senator! Also this type of accent has change and is changing over the years. Watch a clip from PBS’s Robert McNeill from his 2005 documentary Do You Speak American to explain. May you learn a thing or two about African American dialects, Senator.

A Give Me A Break Moment

Movie Director Oliver Stone asserts that Hitler “is an easy scapegoat”. Mr.Stone, “Brotha please!” Your moral relativism has this time gone off the deep end. This is no wonder why I get upset when both far-right purists or liberals themselves who want to paint me as a liberal and say I should be proud of it.  You can call me  a   Mid-20th Century Classic Liberal (in the tradition of Roosevelt, Truman, John and Bobby Kennedy) but NONE of the COUNTERCULTURAL MCGOVERNICKS (with apologies to Newt Gingrich) that took root in the U.S. Democratic party in the early ’70s. Anybody who has the balls who believes in the simple concept of “good is good and bad is bad” and rejects this moral relativistic crap  knows that Adolf Hitler and pathetic, wretched and weazel band of Nazis deserves the evil reputation that they brought upon their miserable selves of an existence. We all know Hitler’s orgasmic hatred of Jews but let us remember his non-fondness of blacks as well.  I wish I could use the Jesse Owens’ incident at the ’36 Olympics but in ’76, Mr. Owens set some facts straight on CBC radio but at least I found this on the internet of Hitler’s Black Victims and also one man’s story of growing up as a biracial in Hitler’s Germany. Hitler was an easy scapegoat?  I don’t think so. Mr.Stone, do you know that denial is a river in Egypt?  There are some stories that only deserve ONE side and sad to say (for you that is) Hitler’s is one of them. Deal with it.  Mr. Stone, give me a break.

Happy Birthday Sir John!

That would be Canada’s first prime minister Sir John A.MacDonald who served from 1867-1873 and again in 1878 until his death in 1891.  May his spirit in heaven be hearing the chorus of his admirers on earth today of, “Happy 195th birthday,Sir John!”  For those who want to know about Canada’s first prime minister, here’s something from the site called  Canada History for starters.

Happy New Year and Happy New Decade to ALL!!! Lot’s have happened!

 

It has been a while since I posted and it is truly a new year and decade. In these seven days of the New Year LOTS has happened internationally and locally. Right now, I am trying to deal with the recent decision of  John Tory of not entering the race for mayor of Toronto. Agan, the dynamic of the mayoral race has changed. It is my hope that my fellow friend Councillor Rob Ford and Councillor Michael Thompson are seriously considering their options. Toronto is in desperate need of a right of centre or centre-right canidate for mayor after 7 years of socialist misrule at City Hall. These men can provide that alternative. If not, I might as well get behind Rocco Rossi if these two men don’t enter the race. At least 2010 will prove an interesting year politically and not just in Toronto. I hope to discuss the my hope for the year 2010, the new decade 2010′s and my hatred of the decade we just came out 7 days ago, the decade from hell: the 2000′s. Stay tuned…
