Here’s a basic education lesson for U.S. Senator from the State of Nevada, Harry Reid in response to his remark about President Obama’s “light skinned” and “Negro accent” being a factor in winning the election in 2008 (so ignorant and condescending from a so-called “liberal” Democrat and yes Obama should have took him to the woodshed and forget about this easy forgivism—but that’s neither here nor there). By the way, it is called African American Vernacular English accent in 2010, Senator! Also this type of accent has change and is changing over the years.
